Dr. Badal received his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Arizona State University. He attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He did his internship year with the Tucson Hospital Medical Education Program and his residency in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Arizona. During his final year of residency he was elected Chief Resident. Dr. Badal joined the Department of Anesthesiology faculty in July 2007. He is a member of the Residency Recruitment Committee. He is also highly involved in coordinating research for the residents and is the departmental coordinator for the Western Anesthesia Resident Conference.
