Dr. Diaz received her B.S. from San Francisco State University, San Francisco, California in 1991. She then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2001. She completed her internship in General Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her residency in Anesthesiology, as well as a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine, were done at Columbia University. A former faculty member of Columbia University, Dr. Diaz is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
